Meet Jim Perona

A horizontal line divides a mostly black image, with dark gray tones below and a thin, grainy white edge near the top.

…………..As the youngest of six in a deeply musical family, he grew up surrounded by instruments, vinyl records, and constant creativity. He picked up the guitar at 11 years old, and never put it down.

Early Years

Music shaped Jim Perona from the beginning. As the youngest of six in a musical family, he grew up surrounded by instruments and records. He picked up the guitar at 11 and never put it down. Formal training followed, leading to degrees in Classical Guitar Performance and a nationally recognized career built on discipline and craft. But accolades were never the goal, creating unforgettable moments was.

Turning Point

The diagnosis that changed everything

In 2022, Jim was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, a diagnosis that could have ended his career as a professional guitarist. Instead, it forced him to rebuild. He trained differently. Played differently. Thought differently. What began as a crisis became a masterclass in resilience and execution under pressure.

That experience led to the creation of his Keynote Concerts, a live demonstration of composure, adaptability, and performance when the stakes are high.

…………In addition to his performance and keynote work, Jim is the author of How to Book Gig$ as a Solo Musician, a practical guide designed to help musicians build sustainable careers in live performance.

As a husband, father, and lifelong student of resilience, Jim remains grounded in gratitude for the relationships that shape him. Perspective, discipline, and composure are not just themes in his keynotes — they are principles he lives daily.

Whether performing at a private event or delivering a keynote concert, his goal remains the same: to create something unforgettable.
